(Please note the course will close at 7pm, later ticket time slots may not get to climb a full 2 hours, please note our harder trails will start to close up to 1 hour before the course closes.) See Trail Descriptions for closing times.
Please note gloves are no longer included or required. You are welcome to bring your own climbing gloves or purchase gloves at the park.
If you already booked for the original date, your reservation has been "parked" on December 29th at 1:00am as a place holder. Email Ashley@treetrekkersmd.com to move your reservation to the 17th, I just need what time slot you want. If you can't make the 17th, please check our park hours calendar and then email what day and time you'd like to move to.
(Here are some tips (for those of us that learned to type on a typewriter)
- If you'd like to purchase both types of tickets, click the 4-pack to add first, a new web browser will open, go to 4/17 on the calendar and choose your time (the 4 packs are bundled so it will say 1 or 2 spots available) click add to cart.
- Come back to this page, it will still be open in your browser, click purchase single tickets, it will take you to your cart (your 4-pack will be in there), add your extra tickets, it automatically chooses the same time your 4-pack was booked for.
- If this gets too complicated or you need multiple different time slots, just give us a call: 301-888-8735 tell us your booking for the Stroll Ijamsville Event and we'll be happy to help get you booked.
- If you complete a waiver before calling to book it will create a customer account for you and help make the booking process faster.
Tree Trekkers
Guidelines for A Good Time!
PARK POLICIES
Please review the following park policies so that all of our guests may enjoy the best possible park experience:
Liability waiver and safety training
Everyone on the property must sign a liability waiver. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver for them. A signed waiver is valid for the Tree Trekkers calendar year. Haven’t signed your waiver yet? Completing your waiver online ahead of time speeds up your check in process. A link to the waiver will be included in your reservation confirmation email labeled "Group Waiver Management". You can also sign your waiver online by clicking the BLUE "SIGN WAIVER" BUTTON at the the bottom of the screen.
In the case of a group event, all parent/guardians of minors must sign a liability waiver in advance. The waiver must be signed by the legal parent or guardian. All participants must participate in required safety training prior to climbing.
Weight Limit: 30lbs-250lbs
Guests must meet the required weight limit and fit correctly in our harnesses. A properly fit harness will have at least 1 inch of webbing pulled through each buckle. We reserve the right to refuse participation if these requirements are not met. Guests will be given a full refund.
Age Limits
4-7 yr olds must be accompanied by an adult climber.
Ages 15 yrs and younger need to have an adult chaperone on property during their visit.
Smoking, tobacco, alcohol and drug policy
There is no smoking, tobacco use, or drugs, permitted on the property. All guests must be of sound mind and not under the influence of any mind-altering substance. Alcohol is not permitted.
Cancellations
We understand life happens and we will work with you to reschedule your adventure.
General admission bookings can be cancelled up to 1 week in advance for a full refund or we’d be happy to help you reschedule. If you give less than 1 weeks notice, you will be able to reschedule for a future date or an account credit will be issued.
Groups and birthday parties require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Cancellations must be 1 week prior to reservation date for a full refund.
If less than 1 week notice is given, you will be able to reschedule for a future date or receive an account credit for the deposit amount to be used at a future date. Account credits never expire and can be used for any products.
Weather cancellations
If you wake up and Mother Nature is raining on your parade just give us a phone call and we’ll be happy to reschedule your reservation. The park does remain open in light rain.
Sometimes Mother Nature is a real “bummer”. If we’re having extreme weather such as heavy winds, severe thunderstorms, lightning, downpours, ice, snow, or an extremely high heat index we may have to close the course. (We use The Weather Channel for all our weather information.) If this is the case, we will reschedule your climb or provide a rain voucher for future use.
"No shows" will NOT be eligible for a refund or be rescheduled. If you are running late or unable to make it to your scheduled time, please call so we can assist you. 301-888-8735

Wildlife encounters and pet policy
Part of forest conservation is protecting the wildlife that lives there. During your visit with us the most common wildlife you will see are squirrels, rabbits, deer, a variety of birds, and of course insects. If you are fortunate enough to observe our wildlife please keep a respectful distance (recommended 3 ft away). If you would like to observe an animal’s normal behavior in their natural habitat, it is best to remain very quiet, calm, and still. If you see an animal that appears to be sick or injured, please notify a staff member immediately.
